Purpose: Stabilize metabolic energy, support organ function, improve nutrient uptake, and prevent collapse in does showing early signs of toxemia: lethargy, inappetence, isolation, sweet breath, weakness, refusal of feed, etc.
Signs to Watch For
- Off feed (refusal of hay/alfalfa, grain)
- Lethargy or isolation from herd
- Obvious depression or lying down more than usual
- Difficulty rising
- Sweet breath (ketosis)
- Normal temp or trending low
- Still a few weeks from due date (typically 2–5 weeks out)
Diagnosis Confirmation (if available)
- Urine ketones — test strips if on hand
Can treat based on suspicion, even if no diagnostics available. These ingredients won’t hurt.

- Spirulina / Kelp / Chlorella (trace minerals, detox support)
