In stock orders are generally shipped within 2-3 business days. I am mostly a one-woman show and minerals are bagged when orders are placed. My personal ideal is to have orders out within 1-2 business days, but if you expect 2-3 days, you’ll mostly be pleasantly surprised. 😀
Orders for small items will ship via USPS while mineral reorders and starter kits will ship via UPS for the most part. Please provide a street address – orders are usually delayed when a Post Office box is provided because we then need to email you and wait for a response before I can ship. AK/HI residents: We can ship to you, but all orders need to go USPS. Example on shipping UPS to an AK zip code for a 2# starter kit quoted today 8/2/23: about $180.

While we try to forecast demand and stay ahead on all minerals, we’ve had issues of backorders off and on through this period of growth. When an item is on backorder, the system should reflect that so you can make an informed decision on ordering. The turnaround from when I order more minerals to when I receive them in stock is about 3 weeks during normal operations so you can expect that it may take up to a couple of weeks before an item can ship. I try really hard to avoid this delay, but it has happened, more than once.
In the case of backorders, if it looks like the delay will be more than a week, I will usually ship what’s in stock (excluding starter kits, those will wait to ship together) and then ship the backorder. If minerals are on the way and close, I’ll wait and ship everything at once. If you have an urgent need, leave a note indicating so in the Notes section at checkout and I’ll send what’s in stock as quickly as I can. This usually incurs significant additional shipping cost, so if it’s not necessary (ie your animals are out of a particular mineral), I appreciate being able to send it all at once.
Because everything sold is consumed or applied to the skin, purity is of utmost importance. For that reason, once an item has shipped, it cannot be returned. If you need to cancel, you can contact us before the order has shipped.
