Balm of Gilead Herbal Salve

Balm of Gilead has the most wonderful sweet natural fragrance and color. Though balm of Gilead is mentioned in the Bible, the modern rendition is traditionally made from cottonwood or poplar buds slow infused in oil and that’s the case with this salve.

Wild crafted from cottonwoods on our property, the buds infused in olive oil, turning it a rich, dark color that you can see in the finished salve.

Ingredients intentionally kept simple: wildcrafted cottonwood bud infused olive oil; small farm sourced beeswax. Available in a screw top 1-ounce tin.
